How to get there from each Vantage locale

The base of the SkyLift is located right on the main Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg. Traffic in Gatlinburg can be heavy, so factor in extra time during peak seasons. The central location makes it easy to access from most areas, but the final approach can be slow due to pedestrian traffic and congestion.

• From Gatlinburg cabins: 5 to 15 minutes. If you are staying close to downtown, walking or taking the free Gatlinburg trolley is often faster than driving and trying to find parking. The trolley system is efficient and drops you off right near the entrance.
• From Pigeon Forge cabins: 20 to 35 minutes. Take the Parkway south into Gatlinburg. Traffic between the two towns can back up, especially on weekends. Consider taking the Gatlinburg Bypass to avoid some of the congestion on the main strip.
• From Sevierville cabins: 35 to 50 minutes. You will need to drive through Pigeon Forge to reach Gatlinburg. Allow plenty of time for the journey, as traffic can be unpredictable.
• From Wears Valley cabins: 40 to 55 minutes. Taking the scenic route through the national park (Little River Road to Fighting Creek Gap Road) is often more pleasant than dealing with Parkway traffic. This route offers beautiful views and a more relaxed driving experience.
